Did you notice the "Quick Poll" on the main page? From time to time, you'll be seeing a poll in that space. This time, we're trying to learn how many of you need formal "continuing education units" for your job. We've kept the poll brief, but we're interested in hearing more. If you have further comments, please add them to this blog post.

At Petfood Forum this year, we at Petfood Industry heard industry professionals asking our speakers about continuing education opportunities, particularly distance learning options. Some of you said that you've searched for online courses and have had difficulty finding them. We'd like to help. This survey is the first step toward identifying the needs that are out there. We'd like to see your comments about specific subjects of interest for continuing education. And we'd like to know how you'd like to learn -- web seminars, university-type courses offered online, on-demand materials for download, other methods? Do you have experience with any particular method that you'd like to share? We'd like to hear about it.
