Getting into the Petfood Business

A good friend of mine in Tulsa Oklahoma has started to produce her own line of dog and cat food. It is outstanding and she is using a completely green marketing campaign. Her biggest issue is getting Medical Insurance for herself and her assistant while they work through the start-up phase. Have any of you who have started your own business found a good solution for this? I think once she gets her sales volumes up she will do fine. Out cat loves all the food she prepares and our cat is very fussy. Our dog will eat anything and loves it too.
