Ah, good point, thanks for the explanation. I'd never guess it's open source - it looks very professional. Good choice!

Hey, Melody! Thanks for signing up. I had the same complaint to our developers about the password! I have a hard time remembering even my 'simple' passwords! However, we are using an open-source platform called "Moodle" and the password rule is set there. Moodle is used by schools and universities around the world so they set tight security rules to cover users that might be asking and controlling more sensitive info than we are.

Looks great, I just signed up. My only complaint is the long list of criteria for passwords. I figure if I want to use an less secure password, that's up to me. Minor frustration though, I'm looking forward to exploring the site.

I didn't bookmark the campus courses as it wasn't what I was looking for, but the majority were part of existing Veterinarian degrees under a holistic healing module of some sort. I'll be looking more and will take note of them for you.

Thanks for your comments, Melody. We'll take this subject area into consideration as we go forward. Would you please share where you found the campus courses?

I spent some time last night looking for remote certification courses for anything related to holistic or natural care/nutrition of animals, and boy is it a wide open niche. I am really surprised to see this after several years of it being the obvious trend and with all indicators pointing to it being a permanent frame of mind. There are full blown campus courses and degrees, but the majority of people who need it will be viewing it as an education upgrade of sorts, which they will want to do while working their full time job or running their company. I look forward to seeing where you take this endeavor and I hope natural nutrition and its bedfellows will play a big part.

For those of you who signed up to be part of our development group in last month's survey, be on the lookout for an email with a link to a followup survey. Thanks in advance for your input!

The hands-on component was a component that the participants certainly enjoyed but there is no reason that I could not adapt this to be put online. Excellent idea!

Thanks, Jeffrey! Sounds like a great opportunity. Coincidentally, I am working on a survey for our readers of Petfood Industry and our feed publications to find out if extrusion technology is an area that would be of interest for our online training program that we are developing. Would your program be adaptable to online training or was there a significant hands-on component?
