Save us all some trial and error - let us know which suppliers really shine!

This is not the place for self-promotion or to plug businesses you're directly associated with, or for posts looking for suppliers, it's for true suppliers that we purchase from. The goal is to compile a list of exceptional suppliers.

Thanks for sharing and a huge thank you to those suppliers who go the extra mile.

Just Tomatoes

Much more than tomatoes, this company has been very successful with it's snack vegies, fruits and fruit powders. My first attraction to this company was the branded product - buying bags of this or that generic product makes me uneasy sometimes. I am buying the very same product as they are selling under their own brand and I like that.

This company gave me their undivided attention. I filled out a brief form and it was even more quickly approved than they promised. I have a sales rep at my disposal who has been very helpful with information and letting me know what promotions are available.

Another unique offering of this company is they try to help offset the high cost of international shipping by offering an extra discount to Canadians (US customers receive free shipping with a minimum purchase). I understand that free international shipping isn't always feasible but I do believe that scoring international business by doing what they can, gives them a very good edge in a vast, virtually wide open market. Higher minimums for free shipping would also work, but the discount is a start.

My only suggestion would be that they offer online wholesale purchasing, but that's minor in the big picture. Overall, a fantastic company meeting the needs of today's consumers and businesses alike.

Fishalicious Krill

My first referral earned a gold star for a few reasons. One being his prompt, undivided attention to a business he knew nothing about. I felt I was treated like a multi-billion dollar company and that's smart business! The fact of the matter is, we don't know who we're dealing with. I may look new, but I could have many other holdings or the family business could be huge. Even if I was a small start-up, they have a funny way of turning into big businesses and guess who gained my loyalty early in the game? Fishalicous Krill did, that's who. Their retail site is Fishalicious.ca and you can contact them for bulk purchasing like I did. Their freeze-dried Krill is top notch - the smell alone says it all.... loudly - don't bring it home...LOL.

There's a tip for suppliers in there, incidentally - treat everyone like they're going around the internet recommending suppliers! ;-)
