Petfood-Connection

hello,
I am taken by idea to create up a small pets food processing factory (extrusion) here in Latvia, but, unfortunately, I am absolute ignorant in pet food production business at all :(
there is a protein-vitamin feeding blend factory close to our area, and my idea is to use their offered mixture as a basic ingradient.
here below I am quoting the producer's given characteristics of this blend:
Microbiological feeding albumin, produced from grain bran (70%) and grain oil meal (30%), processed via microbiological synthesis process.
According to producer, this product is usable as balancing additive to feeding for all kind of animals, birds, fish, and fur animals.
Characteristics given by producer, include such advantages as high feeding value predicted by containing all necessary amino acids, by containing vitamins B, also as by containing macro and micro elements; product has bioprotecting characteristics and is stimulating immune system; product has ability to adsorb and excrete toxins; it’s normalizing metabolism and securing high speed of growth and evolution; product is increasing productivity and surviving of animals, birds, fish, and fur animals; it’s improving the quality of meat and eggs, and adding shine and silken to furs; also as reducing the costs of feeding.
Nominally indicated:
Crude protein min 38%
Protein by Barnstein min 28%
Moisture max 12%
Ash max 10%
Crude cellulose max 10%
Amino acids (common) 25,6%
Also vitamins E, B1, B2, B3, B4, B5, B6, B9, B12, H
and lots of micro and macro elements.
So, I am definitely in needs for specialist’s advise: could a food processing for small rodent pet be based on this ingredient, also as on various grass and hay, what is easily available in our region.
If the initial advise would be positive, I am going to proceed, and, I’m sure, there could be some interesting co-operation be established with experienced small pet food processing spec, interesting also in financial meaning.
Thank you in advance for your replies/comments/advises.
