Wet dog food expert

I need the help of an expert in wet canned dog food. I have a similar product to Pedigree but when testing the product against it with dogs, we loose in the first choice... I need to improve this. Any advise?

palatability enhancer? ... with cats the first choice goes with the smell.. so work on the aroma part...
