Hello, we are a co-packing unit in India, we buy from OEM suppliers in the States, Europe to repack and sell pet food under our own brand name. We import in bulk 25 kg bags to repack in smaller bag sizes of 1 kg, 3 kg, 10 kg etc. We have an automatic weighing and sealing machine for this process, so don't really handle the product physically. But there is always a possibility of bacterial contamination at some point; we would like to adopt HACCP guidelines - what possible risks should we evaluating here and what measures / test protocols should we adopt to guarantee quality of our products?
